Payal Rajput has done a decent job in playing the character as per the requirements. Heroine has a solid role in taking the narrative forward. Otherwise, strictly speaking its a below average fare.

The content despite its predictability might hold interest for small percentage of youth. Overall Rx 100 is a genuine attempt with a predictable story that has women in negative space. Lack of such scenes and poor performance from lead reduces the impact the ‘violent’ love story could have actually had. The only scene where there is a genuine surprise and generates genuine applause is the Rao Ramesh interaction with daughter during the pre-climax. So, when the expected happens it isn’t surprising. Everyone in the audience gets the intention of the ‘love’. It is ‘predictable’ because of the way its shown. The movie begins on an interesting note and takes a predictable turn when the love story begins. The all important pre-climax and climax scenes are biggest example. There are numerous moments that fails because of hero. The superficial act by hero spoils the whole exercise which undoubtedly seems to be made with passion. The performances of the lead, especially the hero and heroine have to be exceptional to make things work. The story is routine and predictable which even a common moviegoer can guess. Director Ajay fails in this aspect big time and that is what brings down Rx100. The story based on a real happening is not an excuse for inept performances. But when the stories are weak or predictable it is imperative that the writing and acting stand out. When the stories are strong sometimes weak performances or other issues might be covered. The pre climax and climax really highlights the inability despite the best efforts by the hero. The attitude that is required for the character is totally missing. There are numerous scenes that could be elevated with right performance from the lead.

He is only a poser and lacks vulnerability and depth.

Let’s just put it at the upfront hero of the movie is film’s biggest weakest. What happens when he comes to know about the love is what the movie is all about? Vishwanatham (Rao Ramesh), father of Indu looks like the apparent villain. She makes all the moves and finally gets what she wants. Indhu (Payal Rajput) falls in love with Shiva (Karthikeya) at the first sight.
